Larkspur Parks & Recreation

The Town of Larkspur is known for  its small-town charm, family-friendly community events and the beautiful Larkspur Community Park.

The Larkspur Community Park provides three park shelters available for rent throughout the year. The park also has a ball field that can house teams for adult CO-ED, girls softball and boys baseball. The ball field is available for reservations for team practices or small leagues. Throughout the year many teams play on the ball field because it is well maintained.

The Larkspur Community Park also includes horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, pickleball court, and a basketball court. In addition, the Town has a fire ring pit that is available for rent and must have a permit issued by the Town for its use.

Of special note is the Larkspur Veteran's Monument. Brought to Larkspur via the Douglas County Veteran's Monument Foundation, Larkspur Veteran’s Monument adds to the magnificence of our park as well as provides a dedicated space where Veterans, past and present, are honored. Located near the fire pit on the northeast side of the park and overlooking Raspberry Butte, the 16 foot wide and seven foot tall monument features emblems of all military branches, a life-size cutout of a saluting service member and his service dog, two stunning water features, and the American flag. It is a wonderful place to reflect on all that our Veterans do and have done for us. Click here to see pictures of the monument.
