NOTICE OF SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION

August 3, 2021

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Town of Larkspur will be holding a special municipal election on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, for the purpose of considering the election of a successor candidates for the Town Council. The election will be conducted as a polling place election and the polling place will be at Town Hall.

To vote in this election, a person must be 18 years of age, a resident of Colorado for 22 days prior to the day of the election, a registered elector, and a resident of the Town of Larkspur on the day registered to vote. A voter may register up to and on election day.

On election day, the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Persons who do not wish to vote in person may vote by absentee ballot.  Absentee ballot application forms may be requested from the Town Clerk up to the end of business on Friday, July 30.  In order to be counted, all absentee ballots must be received no later than 7:00 p.m. on election day.  They may be returned by mail or by depositing them in person in the ballot box located inside Town Hall during regular business hours. Please note that postmarks do not count.
