Functions of the Town Clerk

Per Section 4.30 the Mayor shall appoint a Town Clerk with approval of Council who shall be custodian of the Town seal and shall keep a journal of Council proceedings and record in full all ordinances, motions, and resolutions. He or she shall have power to administer oaths and take acknowledgements under seal of the Town and shall perform such other duties as required by this Charter, the Council or the Mayor.

Per Section 1-3-100 the Town Clerk shall at all times maintain at least one copy of the Larkspur Municipal Code in the office of the Town Clerk. Such Code may be inspected by any interested person at any time during regular office hours but may not be removed from the Town Clerk's office except upon proper order of a court of law.
