  • The Pony Expresso Café at 9080 South Spruce Mountain Road in the "old post office" is open Monday thru Friday from 6:00 A.M. till 9:00 P.M. The Drive-Up Window opens at 5:30 A.M. On weekends the drive-up and dine in open at 7 A.M. They offer a variety of specialty coffees and teas, a full breakfast menu, soups, salads, and sandwiches for lunch and dinner, and flavored soft serve ice cream anytime.

  • The Sei Bella Beauty and Tanning Salon in the old stucco house at the southeast corner of Spruce Mountain Road and East Plum Creek Avenue is open Monday and Saturday 10 A.M.- 4 P.M., Tuesday and Thursday 10 A.M.- 7 P.M.. Wednesday and Friday 10 A.M.- 6 P.M. They offer tanning beds and hair services for adults and kids.

  • Spruce Mountain Liquors has opened in its new location at 8993 South Spruce Mountain Road formerly occupied by Quote Software.

  • Quote Software has completely remodeled the "old firehouse"" at 9375 South Spruce Mountain Road moving from what is now the new home of Spruce Mountain Liquors.

  • COLORADO RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

    The Colorado Renaissance Festival will be celebrating its last weekend of the summer, August 2 - 3, Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, rain or shine. Call: (303) 688-6010 / Toll Free (877) 259-3328 or check out the website at www.coloradorenaissance.com.

  • PARKS AND RECREATION ACTIVITIES

    The Town of Larkspur´s Community Fourth of July Picnic was a huge success with approximately 200 people in attendance. Numerous activities and games were enjoyed by young and old and fun with friends and neighbors was had by all. PLAN ON JOINING US NEXT YEAR FOR AND EVEN BIGGER AND BETTER CELEBRATION.

    We are now focusing our attention on building the Larkspur Trail along Plum Creek and through the Town Park and beginning Phase I of Park enhancements which includes new parking, permanent restroom building and the first of several picnic shelters. Volunteers are needed for these projects. If you have an interest and feel you can contribute in any way toward helping complete these efforts please contact the Town Hall at 303-681-2324 or email us at clerk@townoflarkspur.org.

    VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SUPPORT THESE ACTIVITIES

  • The Town is aggressively pursuing building the Larkspur segment of the Front Range Trail system and beginning Phase I of a five phase park enhancement project. We are mapping the trail routes and engineering the parking, restroom, and shelter locations and designs. Individuals and organizations willing to support and participate in these projects are being sought. Call the Town Hall at 303-681-2324 for more information.
